Happy 5th birthday, Spindles & Stitches!
This is a special batch of batt bits, one of a kind and once they’re gone, they’re gone! Perfect for beginners and experienced spinners alike, the Corriedale has a lovely even crimp that provides grip while spinning and a nice bloom to the finished yarn, while the tencel adds a beautiful shine and drape.
Fibre composition:
95% Corriedale
5% tencel
Corriedale is one of the most reliable wools, that spins and felts well. A longer staple length and a defined, even crimp make it a perfect wool for beginner spinners, as it spins up easier than other wools of a similar fineness. Tencel is a viscose fibre that is silky and lustrous.
This listing is for 50g.
This colourway is: OOAK, not repeatable

These batt bits have been created on my drum carder, for a mix of colours and fibres.
I would recommend that you gently wash your handspun yarn and the items you've crafted from it by hand, with a special wool soak, hand wash detergent, or gentle baby shampoo to avoid felting. However, if felting floats your boat, really give it some welly!
