How do you mail orders?
All orders are sent with Posten/Bring, Norway’s national mail/package carrier, at the standard domestic or international rate. Orders are packed in plastic mailing bags, to ensure your goods stay safe and dry, whatever the weather.
When are your shipping days?
Shipping days are variable at Spindles & Stitches. We aim to ship all orders within 3 working days. If for any reason we cannot keep to this timeline, the customer will be contacted. There will be no shipping days on Norwegian public holidays.
What are the costs of shipping?
You can get estimates for more precise shipping costs by heading over to your shopping cart - general guidelines are:
Domestic: 55kr untracked up to 350g | 149kr+ for tracked packages (if we can pack your order into a smaller sized package it will cost 70kr, shipping overcharges will be refunded)
Europe: 120kr up to 350g | 150kr up to 1kg | 312kr+ for tracked packages
ROW: 140kr up to 350g | 150kr up to 1kg | 348kr+ for tracked packages
Posten calculates shipping costs around package size, as well as package weight - your shipping costs will initially be calculated at the largest package size. We have a business shipping account with Posten which allows us to get a lower shipping price per order when mailing multiple packages - any shipping overcharges will be refunded to you once your order has been dispatched.
Where is my order?
Posten aims to send orders with the following timeframes: domestic 2 working days, Europe 3-7 working days, ROW 5-9 working days. These delivery times are only estimates, not guarantees, and depend on any operating delays Posten may be experiencing. Please also check with your local mail depot and with your neighbour – your package might be waiting for you there! If it's been some time since your order was dispatched and you have not yet received it, please get in touch!

Where is my tracking number?
If you have paid for tracked shipping, a tracking number will be assigned to your order at the time of dispatch. For standard international shipping, a tracking number will be given upon dispatch for your information but Posten does not provide updates unless a tracked service is paid for - it will simply show the following message “This service is not traceable, so you will not find more tracking information about the shipment.”
My order is incorrect / products are missing
Please contact us! Any incorrect orders or missing items will be shipped or exchanged at no extra cost to the customer.
My address was incorrect
Shipping details are the responsibility of the customer – please double check your details before you submit an order. Non-delivery due to incorrect/missing details will not result in a refund or re-shipping. If the package is returned to Spindles & Stitches because of non-delivery due to an incorrect address, the customer will receive a refund for the items only, shipping will not be refunded.
Customs and import taxes
Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. From 1st July 2021, customers from the EU may be required to pay VAT upon delivery, instead of upon ordering. Spindles & Stitches is not responsible for delays due to customs. If the package is returned to Spindles & Stitches because of non-delivery due to unpaid customs duties or import taxes, the customer will receive a refund for the items only, shipping will not be refunded.
